What is Supported Independent Living (SIL) ?

Supported Independent Living (SIL), an NDIS service, allows you to live either alone or with others who also need a bit of assistance. Our approachable and proficient Prop Up Care team is readily available to assist you with daily tasks such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and personal hygiene. Every set of housemates is carefully selected to guarantee a diverse blend, providing you the chance to relish in new friendships and social interactions while developing your personal growth.

NDIS Support

SIL is ideally designed for individuals who have high support needs.

If Supported Independent Living (SIL) aligns with your needs, you will receive funding for this assistance as part of your NDIS plan. The SIL funding you are granted will be determined by the level and nature of assistance you require to live as independently as you can. Supported Independent Living is financed under the Core Supports – Assistance with Daily Life section in your NDIS plan.
